Angela was born in Colorado to a love of alpine environments. Now a resident of Tahoe, Truckee, her landscape paintings express the beauty of fountains, rivers, lakes, trees, and forests, inspired by Truckee / Tahoe, The Sierra, and her travels to climbing and mountain destinations.

These paintings are created in an ‘Alla Prima’ style, which means " in one attempt”; each is done in one sitting.

Angela wants to create accessible and affordable art for folks who love paint and nature. Having often painted abstractly and expressionistically, Angela aims to keep these fresh, simple, and lovely and focus on simple pleasures and essential moments.

In her other life, she climbs rocks and rambles outside often. She also works as a professional, leading teams to build impactful technology, “Technology for Good,” and hopes to continue working in the Climate Tech space.
